Block-Time agreements are our legacy agreement type, and primarily serves very small businesses with basic IT requirements or bigger companies who are seeking additional support in a specific area on a routine basis. Unlike our Flat-Fee Service Agreements, this agreement type is subject to pre-purchased "blocks" of time, that are typically consumed through routine visits to the customer site, purchased at discounted rates. In many cases, Block-Time Agreements are a company's first experience with Outsourced IT services.

Block-Time agreements also include remote support services, typically provided in reaction to an incident that has already occurred, such as when a user has encountered a problem, but also to fulfill work scheduled ahead of time. The key differentiator, between Block-Time and Flat-Fee agreements is that our Managed IT Services, such as Remote Monitoring, Pro-Active Response to Alerts, Endpoint Protection, Server Backup and Recovery, Email Security, or Email Archiving, which are included within all Flat-Fee Agreements, are optional components that can be added to the agreement at additional cost and Block-Time agreements are subject to Overage Billing, whereas Flat-Fee Agreements are not.
